Opportunity Overview
Join Royal Mail’s Property & Facilities Solutions team as a Cleaner at the Heathrow Worldwide Distribution Centre in Slough. This permanent role offers a rate of £12.71 per hour and involves working 37.5 hours weekly, Monday to Saturday from 3:15 pm to 10:00 pm.
About the Role
In this position, you will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards across various environments to ensure a safe and welcoming atmosphere. The duties include mopping, vacuuming, dusting, cleaning toilets, floors, offices, emptying bins, sanitising surfaces, and litter picking in yard and parking areas.
The job demands manual handling such as lifting, pushing, pulling, and carrying heavy items, and the ability to work in all weather conditions. Basic knowledge of industrial cleaning and Control of Substances Hazardous to Health (COSHH) is preferred. Training and support will be provided.
