Job Overview

We are seeking a dependable and meticulous Cleaner to service residential rental properties. This role involves conducting general cleaning tasks for move-in/move-out scenarios, rental turnovers, and preparing properties for listing readiness. The ideal candidate is experienced, organized, and able to operate autonomously in the field while adhering to cleaning standards and checklists.

Key Responsibilities

• Attend scheduled cleaning appointments at residential rental properties for various cleaning services including move-in/move-out and turnover cleanings.
• Perform comprehensive cleaning duties covering kitchens, bathrooms, bedrooms, living spaces, hallways, appliances, floors, surfaces, cabinets, and fixtures.
• Remove dust, dirt, debris, garbage, and any leftover items as needed.
• Wipe down counters, sinks, mirrors, doors, baseboards, and commonly touched surfaces.
• Vacuum, sweep, mop, and otherwise clean floors thoroughly.
• Clean interiors of appliances such as refrigerators, stoves, ovens, microwaves, dishwashers, washers, and dryers when required.
• Identify and document any areas needing extra cleaning, junk removal, repairs, maintenance, or further follow-up.
• Capture clear before-and-after photographs and videos of the cleaned properties.
• Submit detailed updates including notes, photos, and videos after each cleaning visit.
• Maintain professional communication with landlords, applicants, tenants (when applicable), and internal team members.
• Follow company guidelines, checklists, access instructions, and appointment details strictly.

Candidate Requirements

• Prior work experience as a cleaner, housekeeper, cleaning contractor, or similar residential cleaning roles.
• Strong familiarity with residential cleaning standards and practices.
• Reliable means of transportation for traveling between properties.
• Own necessary cleaning supplies and equipment for each appointment.
• Comfortable working independently across various residential rental locations.
• Possession of an iPhone 13 or an equivalent smartphone with a quality camera for documentation.
• Able to take clear photos and videos documenting the cleaning work.
• Capable of writing concise notes and submitting post-appointment updates.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work with minimal oversight.
• Professional demeanor, punctuality, reliability, and a keen attention to detail.
• Ability to adhere to checklists, instructions, and property access protocols.
• Good communication skills with landlords, applicants, tenants, and internal teams.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with move-in, move-out, or rental turnover cleaning specifically.
• Familiarity with preparing rental properties prior to photoshoots, showings, inspections, or tenant move-in.
• Able to recognize and report damages, maintenance issues, junk removal needs, pest problems, access challenges, or unsafe conditions.
• Experience working independently in field settings for property management, leasing, cleaning, or home services companies.
