About the Role
We are seeking a Claims Specialist to support a reputable insurance services organization. This role offers a remote work opportunity across the United States, combining detailed case management, customer service, and administrative tasks. You will play an important part in managing workers' compensation claims from initial submission to resolution, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely handling.
Key Responsibilities
- Accurately review and process workers' compensation claims.
- Gather and validate required details from injured workers, employers, and medical providers.
- Maintain and update claims records and internal systems with precise information.
- Review medical documentation to support claim assessments and updates.
- Communicate professionally through calls with stakeholders, documenting all interactions clearly.
- Proactively monitor cases, perform follow-ups, and support early return-to-work initiatives when applicable.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth claim resolutions and meet quality standards.
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to compliance and productivity expectations.
Qualifications and Skills
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Experience in customer service, administration, or claims handling is preferred.
- Meticulous attention to detail with ability to multi-task effectively.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Comfortable managing sensitive and confidential information.
- Organizational and problem-solving abilities.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Typing speed of 50–60 words per minute.
- Desirable: knowledge of workers' compensation or insurance, medical terminology, claims management systems, or healthcare administration.

Additional Information
This position offers an hourly pay rate between $25 and $32, equating to a daily rate from $200 to $260. The role is fully remote within the United States and classified as temporary.
