Role Overview

As a Claims Resolution Adjuster II, you will handle auto accident claims involving one or more vehicles, including cases with property damage and bodily injury. This is a permanent work-from-home role based in the United States, where you will review coverage, assess liability and damages, and guide customers through the claim journey with strong service and communication.

What You Will Do

You will communicate with customers by phone, email, text, and at times video chat, using company tools to negotiate fair settlements and keep claims moving efficiently. The role requires balancing investigation, customer care, documentation, and negotiation in a fast-paced environment.

Work Style and Core Expectations

You will take on multiple responsibilities each day, including supporting customers with empathy, investigating claims independently, negotiating with all relevant parties, solving problems using claim tools and platforms, and maintaining precise records in the claims system.

Remote Work Requirements

This role is permanently remote and home-based, but your residence must be located in the United States. The schedule is an 8-hour shift between 8:00am and 6:00pm EST or CST, Monday through Friday, with a possible Saturday rotation. A private workspace, a suitable desk and chair, and reliable internet with at least 50 MB download and 5 MB upload are required.

Licensing and Compliance

Depending on your office or area, you may need to obtain an adjuster and/or appraiser license. If so, you must complete the licensing requirement within 60 days of hire, and this may involve an additional background check through the Department of Labor. If you already hold an active insurance license, you must end all existing appointments before onboarding and cannot hold outside appointments during employment. If you hold a resident producer license for an adjuster role, you may be required to surrender it when directed by the licensing team.

Sign-on Bonus

You may qualify for a $1,000 licensing sign-on bonus if you already have the licenses needed for the job, such as a Home Resident Property & Casualty License, Designated Home State (DHS) Florida or Texas License, and/or an applicable Appraiser License. Current employees and former Allstate employees, including those from affiliated companies, are not eligible.

Location and Hiring Notes

This position is not open to residents of California, Alaska, Hawaii, or Washington. Applicants who receive an offer will need to complete a background investigation. Allstate does not generally sponsor employment-based visas for this role.

Compensation

The annual pay range for this position is $50,000 to $75,050, depending on experience and qualifications.
