Civil and Structural Draughtsman

Job Overview

The role involves creating precise structural and civil drawings, including modeling and detailing for various steel and concrete frameworks, primarily focusing on commercial, industrial, and residential buildings. You will be developing plans and layouts using advanced CAD and 3D modeling software, ensuring compliance with building codes.

Key Duties

• Prepare structural steel building models and detailed drawings for industrial constructions like platforms, conveyors, and structural skids.
• Design and detailing of steel components such as columns, beams, braces, stairs, grating steels, and supports.
• Create reinforced concrete and steel structure fabrication and erection plans.
• Produce accurate CAD drawings by translating architectural concepts and update them as per client feedback.
• Develop 3D models for presentations and marketing uses.
• Maintain well-organized digital documentation of all project files.
• Coordinate with project managers and clients through multiple communication channels to ensure project clarity.

Candidate Requirements

• Hands-on experience with structural modeling, checking, and detailing of steel and concrete structural frameworks.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD, SketchUp, Tekla, Revit, or comparable software for creating detailed drawings and 3D models.
• Understanding of residential building codes and construction practices applicable to single-family homes, townhouses, and apartments.
• Familiarity with various residential architectural styles and design elements.
• Strong meticulousness and organizational capabilities.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to function independently while managing responsibilities efficiently.

Additional Information

This role is based in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu, and offers a monthly salary ranging between 15,000 and 25,000 INR.
