Role Overview

The position is for a Civic and Public Administration Expert working remotely on a contract basis. The work centers on creating realistic public-sector environments and tasks that can be used to test and benchmark frontier AI systems.

What You'll Do

  • Set up a believable digital workspace using Drive folders and public-sector tools such as Salesforce Government Cloud, Granicus, Socrata, ArcGIS Hub, and DocuSign.
  • Create complex, multi-stage assignments that require AI agents to move across several applications, documents, and stakeholders.
  • Partner with specialists in civic and public administration to build realistic scenarios and validate them for accuracy.
  • Work independently with research teams to improve task structure and evaluation standards for public-sector benchmarking.
  • Help advance frontier AI research by supporting the creation and assessment of next-generation AI benchmarks.

Experience and Qualifications

Candidates should bring at least 3 years of experience from a federal agency, a large state or city government, or a major federal contractor. The role also requires hands-on familiarity with federal program management, policy execution, or performance reporting such as GPRAMA, along with experience in procurement and contracting frameworks including FAR, DFARS, or state procurement rules. Practical knowledge of public finance, budgeting, or grants management is also expected, and the work should include regular use of Salesforce Government Cloud, Granicus, Socrata, Esri ArcGIS Hub, and DocuSign.

Preferred Background

Helpful additions include PMP, CGFM, FAC-C, or DAWIA certifications, plus strong analytical reasoning and clear writing ability.

Compensation

Pay is task-based, with roughly $850 to $1000 offered for each completed task depending on quality and subject to change. High performers may also receive a weekly bonus. There is also a possibility of moving to hourly compensation after sustained quality and productivity.

Application Steps

The application process is expected to take about 20 to 30 minutes and includes uploading a resume, completing an AI interview built around the resume, and submitting the final form.
