Position Overview

Denise - Private Household in British Columbia has an approved Labour Market Impact Assessment (LMIA) and is seeking a dedicated Child Caregiver to join their team. This role requires working full-time at the employer's residence in a non-smoking environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out light housekeeping and cleaning activities within the home.
• Guide children in personal hygiene and their social development.
• Ensure the home environment remains safe and healthy.
• Plan and organize children's activities such as games and outings.
• Prepare and serve healthy, nutritious meals.
• Supervise and provide attentive care to children.
• Transport children to and from school and other appointments.
• Support children's emotional wellbeing.
• Assist children with homework assignments.
• Handle cooking duties as needed.

Qualifications and Experience

• Possession of a secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
• At least one year but less than two years of relevant experience.
• Valid CPR and First Aid certifications.
• Fluency in English is required.
