About the Role
Talent Craft India is hiring an online chess coach to teach children and help them build thinking skills through an engaging virtual learning experience. The position is open for remote work and can be structured as part-time or full-time, with preference for candidates who already have at least one year of relevant experience.

Talent Craft India is an online platform focused on helping children between 5 and 15 years old develop practical life skills through programs such as chess, Rubik's Cube, coding, and abacus.
Responsibilities
- Run interactive chess sessions online for children in the 5–15 age group.
- Explain chess basics, tactical ideas, opening play, middlegame planning, and endgame techniques according to the learner's level.
- Prepare lessons that are lively, structured, and designed to strengthen analytical thinking and problem-solving.
- Track student improvement and share consistent updates with parents and the internal team.
- Deliver demo classes for interested learners whenever needed.
- Keep the virtual classroom disciplined, engaging, and supportive.
- Help students get ready for tournaments and other chess competitions.
Requirements
- Solid command of chess concepts, including openings, middlegame strategy, and endgames.
- At least 1 year of experience in chess coaching or teaching is preferred.
- Ability to communicate well in both English and Hindi.
- Comfort with teaching children online through tools such as Zoom or Google Meet.
- A patient, upbeat, and child-friendly teaching style.
- Chess-related certifications or competitive achievements will be an advantage.
Preferred Qualifications
- FIDE rating or a recognized chess coaching certification is preferred, though not essential.
- Prior experience handling both group classes and one-to-one sessions.
- Familiarity with online chess platforms like Chess.com and Lichess.
