Chemical Engineer

Overview

A prominent industrial manufacturing firm in Saudi Arabia is looking for skilled Chemical Engineers to join their engineering and production teams. Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and enhance chemical and industrial processes for optimal performance.
• Support routine production and process engineering operations.
• Conduct process calculations and evaluate process data rigorously.
• Develop and review Process Flow Diagrams (PFDs), Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs), and related engineering documentation and reports.
• Identify and implement opportunities for process improvements and increased efficiency.
• Troubleshoot issues impacting process and production effectiveness.
• Collaborate effectively with production, maintenance, quality assurance, and Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) departments.
• Ensure strict compliance with HSE guidelines and quality standards.
• Support quality assurance and continuous process enhancement projects.
• Maintain accurate records of engineering and operational data.
• Adhere to company policies, safety guidelines, and local workplace regulations in Saudi Arabia.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering (B.E./B.Tech.) is required.
• Relevant professional certifications are beneficial but not mandatory.
• 1 to 2 years of relevant professional experience in an industrial factory, manufacturing, chemical industry, or similar field.
• Strong grasp of chemical process engineering concepts and principles.
• Proficient in process calculations, and interpretation of PFDs, P&IDs, and engineering documentation.
• Familiar with HSE standards and quality management systems.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication skills in English and ability to work well in teams.
