Role Responsibilities
- Prepare and present Arabic and International dishes adhering to established recipes and quality benchmarks.
- Oversee and manage designated kitchen stations during both preparation and service periods.
- Ensure food is produced and served timely, maintaining consistency in taste, quality, and appearance.
- Support Sous Chef and Executive Chef with daily kitchen operations.
- Lead, train, and mentor Commis Chefs and kitchen assistants.
- Monitor inventory levels, minimize food wastage, and communicate requisition needs.
- Comply with HACCP, food safety, sanitation, and hygiene protocols.
- Maintain cleanliness and organized conditions for work areas and kitchen equipment.
- Engage in menu development, recipe standardization, and participate in food tastings.
- Implement proper food storage, labeling, and rotation practices (FIFO).
- Address guest requests and special dietary needs as required.
- Foster positive, professional collaboration within the kitchen team.
Candidate Qualifications
- Diploma or certification in Culinary Arts or a Bachelor's degree in Hospitality.
- Preference for candidates with HACCP or Food Safety Certification.
- 3 to 5 years of culinary experience in upscale or five-star hotel environments.
- Strong expertise in cooking methods and international cuisine standards.
- Ability to maintain performance under pressure during busy service hours.
- Excellent communication skills and team collaboration abilities.
- Proficient in time management and multitasking.
