About the Opportunity

We are a rapidly expanding wholesale and import-export company that operates throughout the key commercial hubs of the UAE. We specialize in delivering large volumes of consumer goods efficiently and reliably. Our work environment is fast-paced and results-oriented, focused on operational excellence and outstanding customer service. As we continue to grow, we are looking for a meticulous Cashier to manage the financial transactions smoothly at our Dubai location.

Role & Responsibilities

• Accurately handle customer payments using cash, credit/debit cards, and digital wallets, ensuring no errors.
• Perform daily cash drawer reconciliation, prepare end-of-day reports, and promptly report any discrepancies.
• Issue receipts, process returns and exchanges according to company policies, and maintain detailed transaction records for auditing.
• Assist with inventory management by scanning products, updating stock data, and notifying supervisors of any inconsistencies.
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing questions, escalating problems when necessary, and maintaining an efficient checkout process during busy times.
• Comply fully with UAE financial laws, anti-money laundering regulations, and internal cash-handling procedures.

Requirements & Skills

• Proficiency in POS systems such as Square, Clover, or systems compatible with UAE operations.
• Strong cash handling skills and accuracy in reconciling payments.
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel for data entry and reporting purposes.
• Valid UAE residency visa and work authorization.
• Fluent verbal communication in Arabic or Urdu.
• Understanding of transaction compliance in UAE retail and wholesale sectors.
• Preferred experience in import/export or wholesale industries.
• Familiarity with UAE VAT invoicing practices.
• Training in customer complaint management is a plus.
