Position Summary

The Carpenter will play a key role in constructing and maintaining buildings at the resort. This involves a variety of skilled tasks including construction, remodeling, and ensuring quality craftsmanship. The role requires an understanding of safe working practices, cost and quality control, and proficiency in using tools and equipment related to carpentry.

Key Responsibilities and Skills

Install doors by hanging and fitting hardware accurately
Set windows and perform layouts for stairs and rafters
Carry out formwork and read blueprints effectively
Estimate materials using strong mathematical and analytical abilities
Apply knowledge of carpentry trades, procedures, and specifications to deliver quality work

Qualifications and Requirements

Proven carpentry experience, hospitality sector experience preferred
Deep understanding of carpentry techniques, materials, and tools
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Effective at prioritizing tasks and managing time efficiently
Physically capable to perform demanding carpentry duties
Attention to detail with precision in craftsmanship
Basic mathematical skills to ensure accurate measurements and calculations
Knowledge and adherence to safety regulations and procedures
Adaptable to shifting priorities and work schedules
Customer-centric approach ensuring high standards of workmanship
Organized multitasking capability to handle several projects concurrently
