Cake Maker - KSA Based

Job Summary

We are looking for a talented and imaginative Cake Maker to join our Saudi Arabia team. This role calls for practical experience in producing premium cakes, desserts, and bespoke cake decorations while keeping quality and presentation standards consistently high. The right person will be detail-oriented, creative, and comfortable working in a busy, fast-moving setting.

Eligibility

Applicants from all nationalities may be considered, but holding a valid Saudi residence permit is compulsory.

Responsibilities

• Mix, bake, and finish a wide range of cakes, including special-order and custom-designed items.
• Keep flavour, texture, portion size, and visual presentation consistent across all cake products.
• Prepare sponges, fillings, icings, frostings, and decorative elements using approved recipes.
• Build custom cake concepts and designs based on customer briefs and internal quality standards.
• Introduce new flavours, decorative styles, and seasonal offerings when needed.
• Organize daily production plans so orders are completed on time.
• Follow food hygiene, safety, and sanitation practices in line with Saudi Arabia regulations.
• Track ingredient consumption, reduce waste, and maintain adequate stock.
• Keep baking equipment, tools, and workstations clean and in good working order.
• Assist pastry and kitchen colleagues during busy periods and for large special orders.

Requirements

• A valid Saudi Iqama is required.
• 2 to 5 years of experience working as a cake maker or pastry professional.
• Good practical knowledge of baking, frosting, and cake decoration methods.
• Experience with fondant, buttercream, and simple cake sculpting is an advantage.
• Ability to stay effective under pressure and deliver custom orders within deadlines.
• Strong precision, creativity, and presentation skills.
• Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team.
