About the Role

Join a dynamic cafe team delivering excellent service each day by preparing and serving quality food and drinks. This role combines food preparation, customer interaction, and maintaining cleanliness to ensure a welcoming environment for every guest. The position offers flexible hours with a guaranteed minimum of 8 working hours weekly and advance notice of shift schedules, fostering a supportive and adaptable workplace culture.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of kitchen equipment and utensils.
• Efficiently serve customers while providing attentive care.
• Adhere strictly to food safety and hygiene guidelines, including accurate record keeping.
• Manage stock through first-in, first-out stock rotation practices to ensure freshness.
• Receive and safely store food deliveries in compliance with operational standards.
• Follow all company operational procedures and policies diligently.
• Prepare, cook, and serve items true to the cafe's menu and quality standards.
• Ensure all food items are available and standards are consistently maintained.
• Proactively handle customer complaints and communicate issues to management.
• Keep updated on internal communications and new company initiatives.
• Clean and sanitize customer tables regularly to maintain a hygienic dining space.
