About the Role

We are looking for a Business Development Specialist to oversee and enhance our current partnerships and brand visibility within the Singapore market. Your primary responsibility will be to nurture and deepen connections with our existing partners, including international and local schools, preschools, and community centres, aiming to maximize partnership value and uncover additional opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain and strengthen relationships with existing partners, serving as their main contact to ensure their needs are fulfilled and partnerships flourish.
  • Proactively seek further opportunities inside current partner accounts, including additional programmes, cross-referrals, and expanded promotions, instead of focusing on cold prospecting.
  • Promptly follow up on leads generated by partners, coordinating with internal teams such as marketing and operations to convert leads and keep partners informed.
  • Manage ongoing partner requirements, address queries, oversee renewals, and resolve issues efficiently to sustain strong relationships.
  • Organize and execute joint promotional activities with partners, gather feedback on products, market reactions, and user needs.
  • Keep an accurate and current database of partners using tools like Microsoft Dynamics, CRM, and Excel to track leads, follow-ups, and partnership performance.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher with more than one year of experience in account management, business collaboration, or customer relationship management. Bilingual proficiency in Chinese and English is preferred.
  • Demonstrated strong relationship management abilities and the skill to build trust with partners such as international/local schools, preschools, and community groups.
  • Familiarity with overseas Chinese communities is advantageous, along with experience in education and training, Chinese media, or e-commerce platforms.
  • Excellent analytical skills to identify growth opportunities within existing accounts, superb communication, critical thinking, and summarization capabilities.
  • Highly self-driven with excellent organizational and follow-up skills, capable of handling multiple partner accounts and leads while meeting deadlines.
  • Experience working with overseas Chinese community resources is a plus.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM software, skilled at lead tracking and partnership performance reporting.

Compensation and Benefits

  • Base salary up to SGD4500.
