Role Overview
This full-time, on-site position based in Singapore is for a Business Development Manager tasked with expanding Zollner Asia's market footprint. The role involves sourcing new business leads, strengthening client relationships, managing the sales pipeline, and aligning client needs with organizational capabilities. Key activities include drafting and presenting proposals, analyzing market and competitor data, negotiating contracts, tracking performance metrics, providing updates and forecasts to leadership, and representing the company at industry events and trade exhibitions.
Key Qualifications
- Demonstrated background in business development or sales within electronics manufacturing, mechatronics, or closely related industrial sectors.
- Proficient in client engagement, stakeholder communications, and negotiation for sustaining long-term customer partnerships.
- Skilled in creating professional presentations, proposals, and sales-related documents, with excellent command of English communication.
- Understanding of complex manufacturing environments and EMS, including product lifecycle management and value chain considerations.
- A bachelor's degree in Engineering or a relevant discipline is required; additional advanced qualifications or certifications are advantageous.
- Experience working in diverse, cross-cultural international teams and collaborating effectively across departments and regions.
- Availability and readiness to travel regionally for client meetings and industry participation.
