Role Overview and Responsibilities

• Lead business development initiatives to grow the ISO Tank logistics sector throughout Southeast Asia, targeting specific revenue and volume milestones yearly.
• Identify new market opportunities and develop strategies to achieve targeted revenue and profitability.
• Establish and maintain a qualified sales pipeline via proactive prospecting and comprehensive market analysis.
• Manage the full RFQ cycle including pricing strategy formulation, preparation of commercial offers, contract negotiation, and onboarding of clients.
• Generate sales forecasts, pipeline analyses, and market intelligence reports to assist in strategic business planning.
• Cultivate and sustain relationships with chemical manufacturers, traders, and critical logistics stakeholders across Southeast Asia.
• Represent Milkyway at industry-related conferences and client meetings to enhance market visibility.
• Work closely with customer service, operations, commercial, and finance teams to ensure integrated service delivery and financial coherence.
• Perform additional tasks as delegated by management.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related discipline.
• Between 5 to 10 years of experience in international freight forwarding or logistics, including a minimum of 2 years within chemical logistics or dangerous goods warehousing/transportation.
• Mandatory proven experience in business development or commercial roles within the chemical logistics field or ISO Tank solutions.
• Existing network of clients in the chemical logistics sector is a favorable asset.
• Comprehensive knowledge of international freight forwarding, tank container logistics, and transportation of hazardous materials.
• Successful track record managing RFQs, pricing tactics, and commercial negotiations.
• Strong sense of accountability, ethical standards, and proactive work ethic.
• Preferred certifications in supply chain management or hazardous goods handling.
