Business Analyst

About the Role

We are seeking a seasoned Business Analyst to join our team onsite at South San Francisco, CA. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting a strategic product tailored for business stakeholders on the US West Coast by bridging business requirements with technical development in a dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Collect, analyze, and document both business and system requirements thoroughly.
• Work in close coordination with business stakeholders, Product Owners, and development teams to ensure clear understanding of objectives.
• Convert complex business demands into precise, actionable user requirements.
• Manage product backlogs, write user stories, and prioritize features effectively.
• Organize and lead workshops, stakeholder meetings, and sessions for requirement gathering.
• Provide ongoing business expertise and support throughout the entire software development lifecycle.

Qualifications and Skills

• Five or more years of experience in Business Analysis.
• Demonstrated expertise in Agile frameworks and tools, particularly Jira.
• Exceptional skills in managing stakeholders and communicating clearly.
• Proven capability in capturing requirements and documenting detailed business procedures.
• Strong analytical mindset combined with problem-solving and facilitation abilities.
• Ability to work autonomously while effectively collaborating with diverse teams.

Additional Information

This role requires the candidate to be based locally with a consistent onsite presence at the South San Francisco office.
