About the Role

Join The Randolph Hotel, Oxford's iconic Victorian Gothic landmark, as a Breakfast Waiter/Waitress at The Alice, its all-day restaurant. This position offers an early schedule with most work completed by mid-afternoon, providing a meaningful start to your day and a chance to create memorable first impressions for guests. As the initial point of contact during breakfast, you play a key role in shaping guest experiences and fostering their loyalty.

Key Responsibilities

• Providing warm and efficient breakfast service across The Alice and through in-room dining.
• Welcoming and seating guests, taking orders attentively, and confidently suggesting menu options.
• Ensuring the breakfast buffet is prepared and replenished to a consistently high standard.
• Managing allergen and dietary requests meticulously, adhering to procedures without shortcuts.
• Operating the till, correctly processing charges to rooms, and closing bills accurately.
• Resetting the restaurant for the day ahead and supporting colleagues as needed.
• Maintaining standards of food safety, cleanliness, and licensing throughout service.

Candidate Requirements

• A sincere passion for hospitality and maintaining a naturally positive energy during early morning shifts.
• Previous experience working in a restaurant, hotel, or café environment, preferably with breakfast service.
• Basic awareness of allergens and food safety, with comprehensive training provided.
• Strong communication skills coupled with the ability to remain calm and organized during busy periods.
• Reliability and flexibility to work weekends and bank holidays.
• Eligibility to work in the UK.
