Role Overview
We seek a highly capable Lead BIM Engineer to lead Building Information Modeling initiatives for a major mixed-use mega project in Madinah, Saudi Arabia. This role involves managing BIM workflows across high-rise, luxury hotel, and multi-use developments to ensure cohesive integration and enhanced project delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Direct the creation, implementation, and management of BIM execution strategies for all disciplines throughout the project.
- Coordinate BIM modeling, clash detection processes, and interdisciplinary coordination meetings among architectural, structural, MEP, civil, and specialty consultants.
- Supervise the development, upkeep, and quality assurance of federated BIM models for towers, hotels, and mixed-use elements.
- Establish and uphold BIM standards, workflows, and protocols aligned with global best practices and client expectations.
- Promote collaboration and efficient data exchange to optimize design integration, minimizing errors and rework.
- Provide BIM training, technical support, and troubleshooting assistance to project teams.
- Work alongside project management and construction teams to utilize BIM for construction planning (4D) and cost estimation (5D).
- Manage BIM deliverables for design submissions, approvals, and handover documentation adhering to contractual and regulatory requirements.
- Remain informed on emerging BIM technologies to advance project outcomes and client satisfaction.
- Act as the main point of contact for BIM-related matters, ensuring alignment among all stakeholders.
Candidate Profile
- Minimum 15 years of professional experience in architecture or related fields, with a focus on large-scale, mixed-use, and high-rise developments.
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture or an equivalent discipline.
- Expertise in Autodesk Revit, Navisworks, Revit add-ins such as Dynamo, and integration with specification, energy analysis, cost control, and engineering analysis tools.
- Advanced skills in BIM360 Docs and Design (ACC).
