Role overview
This remote, full-time position is for a Bill Repricer Level II. The role is non-exempt and follows a Monday to Friday schedule from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM.
The main purpose of the job is to process auto medical and workers’ compensation bills across multiple work queues, following the jurisdictional and workflow requirements set by Medlogix clients.
Key responsibilities
- Review and reprice auto medical claims in different system queues using a first-in, first-out approach while staying aligned with client and regulatory service timelines.
- Investigate bill exceptions, compare bill images with captured data, correct mismatches, apply adjuster instructions, check medical records, and send issues to the rejection queue when needed.
- Keep necessary communication flowing between yourself and your supervisor.
- Meet the expected daily processing target for claims and jobs.
- Handle additional duties as assigned.
Required qualifications
- Strong written and spoken communication skills.
- A disciplined, process-driven, and task-focused working style.
- Comfort using computers and prior experience with Microsoft Office tools.
- At least 1 year of experience in medical coding, including CPT and ICD.
- At least 1 year of experience in medical bill repricing.
Preferred experience
- Background in auto claim management.
- Experience in a high-volume, fast-paced production setting.
