Overview

Join Qatar Duty Free at Hamad International Airport, one of the world's largest duty-free retail spaces featuring over 90 boutiques and more than 30 dining establishments. As a Bartender, you will deliver high-quality guest engagement while crafting a range of cocktails and mocktails according to established recipes to exceed guest expectations.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver outstanding customer service by assisting guests in beverage selection and serving promptly to surpass expectations.
• Maintain an attractive bar presentation by creating signature drinks and promoting daily specials to elevate guest experience.
• Train and lead junior staff in service procedures to ensure consistent high service standards.
• Verify guests meet legal age requirements for alcohol purchase and consumption following local regulations.
• Ensure strict compliance with food safety (FSSC) standards by overseeing sanitation documentation and practices.
• Collect and report guest feedback and complaints to management to help improve service quality.
• Suggest new cocktail and mocktail recipes to enhance offerings and increase sales.
• Manage inventory controls monthly and weekly by accurately counting, ordering, and recording supplies to prevent shortages.
• Document wastage carefully and report anomalies to management to maintain profitable operations.
• Follow precise cash handling protocols during billing to avoid discrepancies and guarantee quality service.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by the Head of Department.

Qualifications and Skills

• Minimum of high school education.
• At least one year of relevant work experience in hospitality or food and beverage service.
• Operational knowledge of restaurant and hospitality industry including culinary basics.
• Commitment to service excellence and managing guest relationships effectively.
• Understanding of financial and commercial principles within restaurant operations to drive revenue and KPIs.
• Knowledge of food safety and hygiene protocols pertinent to kitchen and restaurant environments.
• Ability to adapt quickly and efficiently to changing circumstances without disrupting service.
• Strong problem-solving capabilities using critical thinking, creativity, and communication skills.
• Excellent communication skills to interact with guests and team members clearly and professionally.
• Detail-oriented approach ensuring comprehensive attention to guest needs and service delivery.
• Proven teamwork skills, collaborating across departments to achieve exceptional guest satisfaction.
