Position Overview

Become part of the lively hospitality environment at Bristol Airport by joining SSP UK & Ireland as a Barista for Starbucks on a fixed-term contract until October 2026. Experience the excitement of working with a top global brand and serving a diverse customer base.

Working Hours and Compensation

Your shifts will be scheduled between 3 AM and 11 PM, with flexible arrangements across weekdays, weekends, public and bank holidays. The pay rate is £13.35 per hour, with an additional premium of £1.20 per hour for any work performed between midnight and 6 AM, increasing the hourly rate to £14.55 during those hours.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and refine skills related to coffee making and beverage preparation.
• Engage customers by sharing detailed product knowledge and customizing drinks according to their preferences.
• Provide friendly and efficient customer service with a consistently welcoming attitude.
• Ensure the cleanliness and inviting appearance of the Starbucks unit at all times.

Candidate Profile

• Enjoy working actively with people, contributing positively to a dynamic and cheerful work environment.
• Possess a positive, kind, and energetic demeanor on every shift.
• Provide 5 years of references and clear a Criminal Record Check as part of the employment process.
• Be at least 18 years old to fulfill specific role responsibilities, including the legal sale and handling of alcohol.
• Have prior experience in hospitality settings.
