Role Overview

As an Automotive Studio Photographer, you will be responsible for capturing thorough and appealing images of vehicles, ensuring every car looks showroom-ready for listings. This role requires close collaboration with multiple departments to maintain high standards in vehicle presentation and to streamline the photography workflow.

Key Responsibilities

• Photograph vehicles from all necessary perspectives, including exterior, interior, close-ups, and complete 360° views to present every car attractively.
• Arrange lighting, backgrounds, and composition setups to maintain consistent quality throughout all shoots.
• Portray an honest image of each vehicle, highlighting imperfections to provide transparency to customers.
• Edit and retouch photos using tools such as Photoshop or Lightroom, and upload them promptly while maintaining freshness.
• Manage the operational flow to photograph several vehicles daily, ensuring all deadlines are met.
• Coordinate closely with Quality Control, Refurbishment, and Sales teams to ensure vehicles are prepared and camera-ready upon arrival.
• Maintain photographic equipment, including cameras, lenses, and lighting setups, to guarantee readiness for all shoots.

Qualifications and Skills

• Pursuit of or completion of a diploma or degree in a related photographic or visual arts field is preferred.
• At least 1 to 2 years of hands-on experience in automotive, product, or studio photography is required.
• Solid understanding of camera operations, lighting techniques, composition, and ensuring image quality meets professional benchmarks.
• Preferred experience specifically with vehicle photography covering interiors, exteriors, details, and 360° imagery.
• Proficiency in operating DSLR or mirrorless cameras and fundamental photography equipment.
• Basic skills in photo editing software such as Adobe Photoshop and Lightroom or equivalents.
• Exceptional attention to detail to accurately represent vehicles and their features.
• Capability to handle multiple vehicles concurrently and adhere strictly to photography schedules.
• Strong communication skills to maintain effective collaboration with QC, Refurbishment, and Sales departments.
