Role Overview
This role sits within Infosys Quality Engineering at the Pune location. The position is for an automation testing professional who can work with clients, support delivery quality, and contribute to building reliable software systems.
Core Responsibilities
- Work closely with clients to support quality assurance, resolve issues, and maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Translate requirements into design inputs, review designs, validate architecture, and help ensure strong service delivery in the technology domain.
- Take part in project estimates, contribute to solution delivery inputs, and assist with technical risk planning.
- Review code and unit test plans to maintain quality standards.
- Guide team members toward efficient, high-quality outputs while following organizational processes and knowledge-sharing practices.
- Contribute to building effective systems and programs that support clients in their digital transformation goals.
Additional Responsibilities and Expectations
- Work across more than one technology when needed.
- Apply basic architecture and design fundamentals.
- Use testing tools effectively.
- Understand agile ways of working.
- Be familiar with development and maintenance project life cycles.
- Understand estimation approaches and quality processes.
- Use basic business-domain understanding to interpret requirements.
- Bring strong analytical thinking, technical capability, and clear communication.
- Demonstrate an understanding of software quality assurance, SOLID principles, and modelling methods.
- Stay aware of current technologies and industry trends.
- Show strong problem-solving, debugging, and analysis skills.
Technical Requirements
The preferred technical focus is automated testing with Selenium and Java.
Education Requirements
Eligible backgrounds include MCA, MSc, MTech, Bachelor of Engineering, BCA, BSc, and BTech.
Experience
This role is intended for professionals with 4 to 10 years of experience.
