About the Role
This opportunity is offered on behalf of a partner company seeking an Associate Product Manager based in the United States. This position suits an early-stage product professional passionate about enhancing how teams create, launch, and scale digital products. The focus is on supporting product delivery through improved coordination, workflow enhancement, and ensuring organizational readiness, prioritizing product operations and cross-team collaboration over owning the product roadmap.
Core Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Support, and Operations teams to enhance product delivery processes and readiness for launches.
- Assist in preparation activities for product releases, validate workflows, and ensure cross-team alignment.
- Spot operational risks, edge cases, process inefficiencies, and potential downstream consequences in advance of product launches.
- Participate in release validation, issue tracking, software testing, and user acceptance testing as needed.
- Refine release documentation, manage operational handoffs, and optimize internal product processes.
- Act as a liaison between product teams and internal stakeholders to increase transparency and communication regarding initiatives and forthcoming changes.
- Collect, organize, and analyze feedback from internal teams to uncover recurring issues and areas for improvement.
- Drive internal tooling enhancements, improve workflows, and contribute to scaling operational capabilities.
- Manage smaller projects related to product operations and process improvements from planning through execution.
- Explore automation and AI-supported workflow opportunities to boost efficiency.
- Assist Product Managers with tracking initiatives, handling enhancement requests, organizing issues, and ensuring operational follow-through.
- Maintain clear project management and collaboration documentation to ensure alignment.
Candidate Requirements
- A bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related disciplines is preferred.
- Between 1-3 years of experience in roles such as product management, product operations, business analysis, software support, or project coordination.
- Exceptional organizational abilities with strong attention to detail and skill in juggling multiple priorities.
- Excellent communication capabilities, both written and verbal, facilitating collaboration across diverse teams.
- Proven ability to operate effectively in uncertain environments with adaptable priorities.
- Strong problem-solving skills, including pattern recognition and identification of inefficiencies and improvement possibilities.
- Comfort in balancing operational coordination with strategic process enhancement efforts.
- Familiarity with Agile or Scrum methodologies is advantageous.
- Experience using project management and collaboration platforms such as Jira, Linear, Confluence, or Zendesk is a plus.
- Background in supporting software releases, testing procedures, or operational workflows is beneficial.
- An interest in AI technologies, automation, and scalable operational solutions.
- Basic knowledge of APIs, databases, or web applications is also beneficial.
