Position Overview

We are seeking a full-time Assistant Superintendent to support project oversight on small to large scale projects. This role involves independent project supervision and assisting with on-site technical and administrative management related to general construction disciplines.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the Project Manager and Superintendent to develop and monitor project schedules, ensuring milestones and critical paths are adhered to.
  • Manage daily construction activities, including preparing detailed daily job reports.
  • Ensure all construction conforms to contract documents, specifications, and quality standards by working closely with owners' representatives and architects.
  • Provide technical guidance, interpret drawings, and recommend suitable construction methods and equipment.
  • Supervise procurement and timely delivery of tools, materials, and equipment in line with project timelines.
  • Coordinate trade activities, resolve contractor disputes, and maintain quality control and schedule oversight.
  • Lead craft personnel and subcontractors ensuring productivity, efficient resource use, and contractual compliance.
  • Maintain open communication with all contractors and stakeholders to support smooth project operations.
  • Organize weekly meetings with subcontractors and owners, documenting minutes and ensuring timely project close-out and punch list completion.
  • Enforce jobsite security and maintain safety compliance with OSHA and company safety programs.
  • Monitor and manage subcontractors' adherence to safety policies, conduct job safety meetings, and document any violations with recommendations for corrective measures.
  • Promote company vision, values, and goals through ongoing communication and training of proper techniques and procedures.

Qualifications and Essential Skills
