Role Overview
We are a renowned manufacturing firm seeking an Assistant Manager for our Production - Press Shop division based in Faridabad, India. This role demands expertise in production planning, workforce management, and quality control within a shop floor environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan production activities efficiently to meet targets.
- Manage manpower allocation and monitor shift activities.
- Implement 5S principles to maintain workspace organization.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives including Kaizen and Poka Yoka techniques.
- Prepare and analyze daily Management Information System (MIS) reports.
- Oversee shop floor operations ensuring smooth workflow and reduced defects.
- Collaborate closely with other departments for coordinated operation.
Candidate Requirements
- Educational background: B.Tech or B.E. in Automobile Engineering, Production and Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Manufacturing Engineering or related fields.
- Alternatively, candidates with Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Vocational Course in Engineering, Production Engineering, or Mechatronics Engineering are also eligible.
- Experience in production management and shop floor supervision is desirable.
Additional Information
This position offers a salary ranging from INR 500,000 to 800,000 per annum. The role is based onsite at Faridabad with a focus on operational leadership in the press shop.
