Role Overview
This position provides essential operational support to the EVP of Innovation & Growth Strategy and manages departmental coordination including communication, workflow, and logistics. The ideal candidate is detail-focused, proactive, and thrives within a dynamic environment to keep the team organized and efficient.
Primary Responsibilities
- Manage phone communications, travel planning, and calendar scheduling.
- Prepare and monitor reimbursement for expense reports.
- Assist with invoice processing and departmental financial tracking.
- Coordinate logistics for departmental meetings, both on-site and off-site.
- Liaise effectively with internal staff, senior executives, NHL Clubs, and external partners at various organizational levels.
- Oversee event logistics related to NHL key events including ticketing, suites, hotel bookings, corporate hospitality, and VIP experiences.
- Complete routine administrative tasks and support special projects within the department.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance communication and operational flow.
- Perform additional department duties as assigned.
Qualifications and Skills
- Previous experience in an administrative support capacity is required.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications—Word, Excel, PowerPoint—is essential.
- Experience within sports leagues, teams, or media entities preferred.
- Familiarity with NHL, its teams, and major events is a strong advantage.
- Degree from a college or university is required.
- Strong self-motivation and organizational skills to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team setting.
- High interpersonal skills to interact with diverse groups, including senior leadership and corporate partners.
- Capability to work with minimal supervision, demonstrating ownership, confidence, and initiative.
- Excellent time management and prioritization skills adaptable to shifting priorities.
- Detail-oriented, flexible, and adaptable to changing work demands.
- Willingness to travel and maintain flexible working hours as needed.

Salary and Application
The salary range for this role is $75,000 to $85,000 annually, with exact compensation based on experience, skills, market factors, and location.
