Assistant Category Manager - Amazon Now

Role Overview

Amazon Now operates as Amazon's rapid commerce initiative serving Saudi Arabia's highly competitive and fast-changing retail marketplace. In this capacity, you will function as the Vendor Manager responsible for managing the entire vendor relationship lifecycle within a portfolio of suppliers, targeting product assortment, availability, and business performance throughout our dark store and superstore network.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain and expand a portfolio of vendors in designated categories by fostering robust partnerships and establishing the foundations for sustained success on the platform.
• Facilitate selection growth by pinpointing and integrating new products (ASINs) that align strategically with category goals and help meet ASIN targets.
• Enhance distribution metrics and fill rates by collaborating closely with suppliers to improve availability and minimize stockouts while ensuring supply chain resilience.
• Conduct periodic vendor performance assessments via business reviews to exchange insights and synchronize on expansion opportunities and areas for enhancement.
• Assist in strategizing and executing promotional campaigns and deals, securing vendor commitment to optimize results.

Candidate Requirements

• Possession of a bachelor's degree is mandatory.
• Minimum of one year of experience in account management, project/program management, or procurement activities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other analytical business tools.
• Fluency in spoken, written, and reading English.

Preferred Skills and Experience

• Familiarity with software and editing utilities including HTML, Excel, and SQL.
• Prior experience in online retail environments.
• Working knowledge of analytical tools such as Google Analytics, SQL, or HTML.
