Assistant Branch Manager

Role Overview

The Assistant Branch Manager will steer the branch's full business operations to achieve profitability by aligning with the overarching organizational strategies crafted by senior management.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, design, and implement policies and procedures that drive the Business Unit's profit objectives and meet strategic targets.
• Lead and supervise a team comprising 2 Managers and several Supervisors to fulfill both business and professional goals.
• Oversee day-to-day branch operations to attain targeted results, while contributing to process enhancements.
• Engage actively in managing sales activities to boost revenue.
• Plan and control production, delivery, procurement, storage, and transportation operations efficiently, emphasizing resource optimization and cost control.
• Conduct market research to track evolving customer needs and trends ensuring the branch adapts appropriately to maintain relevancy and competitiveness.

Candidate Requirements

• Full responsibility for all branch operations, ensuring revenue generation aligns with business plans while maintaining tight control over expenses to safeguard financial health.
• Strong knowledge of marketing, sales, and internal operational strategies backed by significant industry experience.
• Expertise in Profit & Loss management, cash flow oversight, and numerical analysis.
• Familiarity with diverse business concepts, practices, and procedures requiring creativity and innovative problem-solving.
• Proactive approach in monitoring market changes and successfully translating those into competitive business plans.
• Ability to lead and develop team members via guidance, training, mentorship, goal setting, and data-driven analysis.
