Job Overview
The Medical Assistant at Crossover Health plays an essential role in creating a memorable patient experience. This position is responsible for providing outstanding service to clinic guests from arrival throughout their visit and extending beyond the clinical setting to ensure exceptional patient satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage all guest interactions, providing exceptional hospitality and professionalism while accommodating special needs when possible.
- Address and resolve patient complaints, assist with inquiries related to clinic operations and service hours.
- Collect patient medical histories, record vital signs, and gather relevant information to support clinicians in patient care.
- Oversee inventory management including ordering and replenishing medical supplies and materials.
- Administer medications, including injections, within the scope of practice.
- Handle multi-line phone systems professionally by answering calls, scheduling appointments, managing emails, and maintaining clear communication.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Completion of an accredited medical assistant or surgical technician program.
- At least 2 years of clinical back-office experience as a medical assistant.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

- Proficient with computers, including Microsoft Office products.
- Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal.

- Ability to work effectively within a team and manage conflict and multitasking efficiently.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand, walk, and sit for extended periods.
- Occasionally lift and carry items up to 50 pounds.
- Manual dexterity, hand-eye coordination, and full range of body motion including patient handling and lifting.
- Normal corrected vision, hearing, and speech capable of effective communication with patients and team members.
