About the Role
The Area Retail Associate (ARA) serves as a key support function under the Assistant Manager Sales for the Karnataka, Kerala, Tamil Nadu, and Sri Lanka regions. This position aids in maintaining operational excellence, brand uniformity, and boosting sales performance across multiple PUMA Store-in-Store (SIS) locations. Acting as the liaison between store teams and area leadership, the role focuses on enhancing store execution, guiding training initiatives, and ensuring policy compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Supporting daily operations for multiple SIS outlets.
- Monitoring sales KPIs at the store level and assisting store staff in meeting sales targets through enhanced service and sales capabilities.
- Providing performance analysis and insights to the Area Sales Manager.
- Ensuring consistent implementation of Visual Merchandising (VM) standards, coordinating seasonal campaigns, updates, and product launches with the VM team, and auditing store display quality with recommendations for improvements.
- Assisting with inventory management including stock replenishment, counts, shrinkage reduction, identifying product movement trends, balancing stock across stores, and reporting discrepancies to management.
- Delivering on-floor training sessions for new and current retail associates focusing on product knowledge, customer service expectations, and sales techniques.
- Supporting coaching efforts to improve staff performance.
Candidate Profile and Eligibility
- Candidates should have 2 to 5 years of experience in retail operations, preferably with exposure to multi-store or supervisory roles within Large Format Retail (LFR) or Store-in-Store settings.
- The position requires frequent travel within assigned stores and flexibility to work on weekends and during peak retail periods.
- A graduate degree is preferred, ideally in Business, Retail, or Marketing.
