Role Overview

We are seeking an Apartments Concierge at Fairmont Dubai to warmly welcome each guest upon arrival, delivering a first-class hospitality experience. This role requires professionalism, comprehensive knowledge of the hotel, and a friendly demeanor to ensure guests feel genuinely welcomed.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet every guest entering the apartments warmly and attentively.
• Maintain awareness of guests passing through entrances and offer assistance as needed.
• Provide assistance to guests departing the apartments.
• Keep consistent eye contact with guests, following observed protocols (such as the 5x10 foot rule).
• Comply with all Occupational Health and Safety regulations.
• Open doors for arriving and departing guests.
• Provide clear instructions when issuing valet tickets for vehicles.
• Notify security of any suspicious individuals or activities.
• Ensure guests receive prompt and efficient assistance.
• Use guests' names when greeting to enhance personalization.
• Understand all hotel department operations thoroughly.
• Organize taxi transportation for guests who need it.
• Act as a positive representative of the hotel, creating excellent first impressions.
• Participate in shift briefings to stay updated on hotel events and information.
• Adhere to the Fairmont Code of Ethics in all actions.
• Collaborate closely with Bell Persons to communicate accurate apartment information.
• Support Housekeeping by keeping the apartment driveway clean.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Candidate Profile

• Previous concierge or hospitality experience is preferred but not mandatory.
• Capable of working efficiently in high-pressure environments.
• Possess assertiveness to manage apartment driveway traffic.
• Manage multiple tasks simultaneously with focus and organization.
• Physically fit to handle lifting and moving luggage as necessary.
• Have good knowledge of the hotel, Dubai, and current events.
• Strong verbal and written English skills; additional language abilities are advantageous.
• Maintain high personal grooming standards at all times.
• Flexible to work varied hours as needed.
• A team player committed to collective success.
• Highly guest-oriented and service-focused.

Physical Requirements

• Stand and walk frequently throughout shifts.
• Occasionally lift or carry items up to 20 lbs.
• Regularly kneel, push, pull, and sit during tasks.
• Occasionally use ladders, stairs, and ramps.

Applicants must be eligible to live and work in the UAE. Successful candidates will receive assistance with visa processing, flights, and accommodation.
