Job summary
This role provides analytical support for compliance operations. The position helps the organization stay aligned with regulatory obligations, industry expectations, and internal policies, while also reducing exposure to legal, fraud, and abuse-related risks.
Reporting to the Compliance Manager for CAP Oversight, the analyst will help develop and administer Corrective Action Plans (CAPs) and drive completion of the required remediation steps so that identified compliance issues are properly resolved.
Key responsibilities
- Own and manage assigned corrective actions from start to finish.
- Support day-to-day compliance work, including handling compliance incidents and tracking CAPs through accurate and timely closure.
- Examine CAP root causes, regulatory needs, and Medicare, Medicaid, and MMP reporting requirements to confirm alignment with federal and state guidance.
- Set up and coordinate discussions with business teams, compliance staff, regulators, and other partners to advance remediation and broader compliance efforts.
- Prepare required compliance reports, maintain KPI reporting, and help distribute regulatory memos and related records.
- Review federal and state manuals, regulations, and proposed rules; assist with drafting updates and organizing company feedback.
- Support or lead complex compliance initiatives, arrange regulator visits, and administer compliance systems such as Compliance Central and CMS user access.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of experience in compliance and/or audit work, or an equivalent mix of relevant education and experience.
- Working knowledge of healthcare regulatory requirements and frameworks.
- Strong attention to detail, especially when reviewing documentation.
- Ability to analyze data and prepare reports.
- Self-directed approach with the ability to organize and prioritize work independently.
- Comfort working across a highly matrixed organization and engaging with internal and external stakeholders, including regulators.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and related software tools.
Preferred qualifications
- Certified in Healthcare Compliance (CHC).
- Background in risk assessment methods.
- Understanding of internal control frameworks.
