Program Overview
The Amazon Career Change Program (ACCP) is a hiring initiative targeting professionals ready to transition into new career paths within Amazon's Consumer business in Germany. This 12-month fixed-term contract begins in late October 2026 and offers roles such as Account Management, Vendor Management, Business Development, Product Management, and Program Management. Candidates must be available to work onsite five days a week, with occasional remote work allowed by exception.
Candidate Streams
- Career Returners: Professionals with at least 18 months of career break after previous corporate experience.
- Ex-military or police personnel seeking to apply their leadership and operational expertise in a corporate role.
- Former professional athletes aiming to leverage resilience, teamwork, and goal-oriented skills for a new career.
Role Description
Participants will engage in regular operational business activities, supported by structured onboarding and ongoing mentorship. The Consumer division at Amazon focuses on delivering a seamless shopping experience, including search functionality, product recommendations, payments, and efficient delivery worldwide.

Requirements
- Minimum of 4 years of professional experience with a career break of at least 18 months (part-time or unpaid work during the break is acceptable)
- Professional background in sectors such as e-commerce, FMCG, financial services, consulting, or advertising
- Eligibility to work in Germany without visa sponsorship or relocation support
- Fluent English communication skills (C1 level or above)
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree
- Experience in account management, client relationship or category management, sales, business development, buying, merchandising, marketing, communications, supply chain, inventory management, or project management
- Strong problem-solving abilities with a results-oriented mindset
- Comfort with ambiguity and ability to lead change with limited guidance
- Strategic and tactical thinking with meticulous attention to detail
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
- Fluent German communication skills (spoken and written at C1 level or above)
Additional Information
- The role is a fixed-term contract lasting 12 months. Visa sponsorship and relocation expenses are not provided; applicants requiring these should not apply.
