AI Subject Matter Expert (SME)

Overview

Inbox Business Technologies seeks a knowledgeable AI Subject Matter Expert (SME) to deliver specialized insight in artificial intelligence, covering areas such as AI, Generative AI (GenAI), and agentic AI. The role involves ensuring that communication content is technically precise, responsible, and trustworthy, as well as supporting communications related to AI product launches and promoting AI literacy across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as the definitive expert on AI, GenAI, agentic AI, and machine learning topics in all relevant program materials.
• Examine and verify the technical correctness of AI-related content including product launches, ethical AI initiatives, and safe usage guidance.
• Provide advice and help design AI-literacy initiatives and related surveys or assessments to boost awareness.
• Support senior leadership presentations and communications tied to AI product rollouts by contributing expert knowledge.
• Direct the Communications team regarding responsible AI messages, addressing topics such as bias, hallucinations, and privacy-conscious applications.
• Collaborate with the Adoption Analyst to interpret AI adoption trends and suggest content or intervention improvements accordingly.

Requirements

• Between 7 and 11 years of professional experience in AI, machine learning, data science, or applied artificial intelligence, with recent work involving GenAI or agentic AI technologies.
• Preferably experienced in guiding or facilitating AI adoption within enterprise environments.
• Familiarity with responsible AI principles and AI governance frameworks.
• Strong grasp of AI, GenAI, agentic AI, and machine learning basics.
• Knowledge of responsible and ethical AI, AI product adoption processes, and safe usage practices.
• Experience in designing AI literacy content and awareness programs.
• Skilled in simplifying AI topics for business stakeholders and providing advisory support.
• Certification in AI or machine learning (examples include Azure AI, Google Professional GenAI/ML, or NVIDIA AI certification) is preferred.
• Fluent proficiency in English.
