Spyne is revolutionizing automotive retail by leveraging advanced Generative AI technology to enhance how vehicles are marketed and sold. With $16M secured in Series A funding from leading investors, the company has launched pioneering AI-powered imaging and video tools for automotive dealers and is developing a comprehensive AI-driven retail suite for inventory, marketing, and CRM. Spyne has rapidly onboarded over 1500 dealers globally and is targeting 10,000+ dealers worldwide in a large market of 200,000+ dealers. The organization includes a 150-member team nearly equally divided between Research & Development and Go-To-Market functions.
Role Summary
We are seeking an AI Product Manager to spearhead the creation of AI-first software applications utilizing large language models (LLMs) and intelligent agents aimed at automotive dealers and buyers. This pivotal role encompasses ownership of the entire product lifecycle, collaborating tightly with Engineering, AI/ML, Design, and GTM teams to grow Spyne's annual recurring revenue from $5M to over $20M.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement strategic roadmaps for LLM-based applications and AI agents aligned to market demands and user requirements.
- Innovate products featuring chatbots, decision-support, and workflow automation powered by AI.
- Partner with engineers and data scientists to research, tune, and deploy LLM solutions that address practical use cases.
- Design and build AI agents that are context-aware and integrate smoothly within user workflows.
- Translate user challenges into clear, AI-enabled products with understandable results.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams including Engineering, Data Science, and Design to prototype and scale products featuring LLM technologies.
- Define and monitor performance indicators such as accuracy, response times, and engagement metrics.
- Continuously improve AI model effectiveness and user satisfaction based on feedback and data analysis.
- Lead go-to-market initiatives including planning launches, driving beta adoption, pricing strategies, and tracking success.
Qualifications
- 3 to 6 years of product management experience in AI, SaaS platforms, or data-centric software.
- Demonstrable experience in developing or scaling applications powered by large language models, including GPT or Claude.
- Expertise in fine-tuning models, prompt engineering, managing context, and evaluating AI models.
- Strong communication skills to explain complex AI concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Proficiency with tools such as Figma, Jira, and APIs from OpenAI, Anthropic, or Hugging Face.
- A data-oriented approach with a solid understanding of AI product metrics and performance analysis.
- Ability to thrive in fast-moving and ambiguous work environments.
Preferred Attributes
- 3 to 4 years of experience in product management within SaaS, automotive technology, or AI-first product spaces.
- Experience building products from ground zero or scaling within global or B2B contexts.
- Insight into Generative AI and Computer Vision, with prior collaboration with machine learning teams.
- Strong systemic thinking combined with urgency in execution.
- Exceptional prioritization skills and a focus on maximizing user workflow efficiency and business outcomes.
