Role Overview
As an AI Solution Architect at NTT DATA, you will be instrumental in spearheading AI-driven growth and transformation within mega accounts or regional portfolios focused on Financial Services and Retail sectors. Collaborating with Client Partners, Sales, Industry Leaders, and senior executives, you will craft and advance AI solution strategies that align with enterprise objectives and promote responsible AI usage.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement AI go-to-market strategies for designated mega accounts or portfolios in Financial Services and Retail.
- Cultivate and sustain robust relationships with C-suite and senior executives.
- Identify and qualify AI transformation opportunities aligned with client needs and industry trends.
- Create persuasive AI value propositions, business cases, and tailored solution narratives addressing industry challenges.
- Collaborate with Client Partners, Sales teams, and Industry Leaders to originate, position, and finalize AI initiatives.
- Lead responses to RFPs, RFIs, and RFQs for AI projects, managing solution strategy, proposal creation, presentations, and stakeholder collaboration to increase success rates.
- Drive executive-level presales activities including opportunity shaping, solution design, and proposal positioning.
- Lead AI sales pipeline expansion, revenue growth, and commercial achievements across assigned accounts.
- Contribute to strategic account growth planning through market opportunity identification and AI solution positioning aligned with client goals.
- Ensure integration of responsible AI principles such as security, governance, transparency, and human oversight in all solution designs.
- Effectively collaborate within a matrixed organization across business, delivery, and leadership units.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a related field.
- 8 to 12 years of professional experience in consulting, professional services, or industry roles with substantial client-facing and leadership responsibilities.
- Minimum 5 years leading AI, data analytics, advanced analytics, or digital transformation initiatives.
- At least 2 years of hands-on experience with Generative AI solutions such as large language models, AI agents, or generative AI applications.
- Over 5 years of experience in sectors like Banking, Insurance, Manufacturing & Commercial, Automotive, Healthcare & Life Sciences, or Public Sector demonstrated through delivery or leadership roles.
- At least 2 years supporting or leading presales efforts including opportunity identification, solution shaping, proposal development, and executive deal reviews.
- Proven track record managing complex RFPs, RFIs, proposals, including architecture, presentations, commercial positioning, and stakeholder engagement.
- Familiarity with major cloud platforms: Azure, AWS, GCP.
- Ability to navigate and succeed in fast-paced, matrixed, and growth-oriented environments.
