Role Overview
This position is for an AI Engineer working on Generative AI solutions with Vertex AI. The role is suited to professionals who can design, build, and deliver practical AI systems using modern cloud and machine learning tools.
Core Responsibilities
The role involves developing AI and GenAI solutions, working with Google Cloud and Vertex AI services, and creating scalable application endpoints. You will be expected to apply machine learning and NLP knowledge to real-world use cases and support solution delivery using current deep learning and generative AI techniques.
Must-Have Skills and Technical Expertise
- Strong working knowledge of Python.
- Experience with deep learning frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or JAX.
- Understanding of NLP and machine learning fundamentals.
- Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform services, including Vertex AI, Cloud Functions, Pub/Sub, and BigQuery.
- Practical exposure to generative AI models such as Gemini and Vertex Search.
- Familiarity with prompt engineering, tuning approaches, vector databases, and embeddings.
- Ability to build APIs and endpoints using Flask or FastAPI.
Preferred Qualifications
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving ability.
- At least 4 years of experience in AI or GenAI development.
- Track record of delivering AI solutions on Vertex AI.
- Knowledge of transformer-based models such as BERT.
- Professional ML Engineer certification is preferred.
