About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Agile Coach to contribute to a strategic transformation initiative within a large-scale engineering environment based in Singapore. This role focuses on assisting engineering teams to implement agile methodologies practically in their everyday processes. The Agile Coach will collaborate with multiple teams to embed agile values, principles, and practices in a pragmatic, sustainable, and measurable manner.
Key Responsibilities
- Guide several engineering teams in integrating agile methods into their routine work.
- Convert fundamental agile training into actionable team behaviors, rituals, and delivery habits.
- Lead transformation cycles lasting up to 12 weeks per team.
- Manage coaching for up to three teams simultaneously.
- Evaluate team maturity levels and identify workflow improvements.
- Set target objectives and measurable goals for coaching outcomes for each team.
- Develop structured coaching plans and assist teams in their execution.
- Facilitate agile ceremonies, workshops, and team enhancement sessions.
- Assist teams in enhancing planning, prioritization, delivery accuracy, and teamwork.
- Encourage the cultivation of ownership, accountability, and continuous improvement within teams.
- Collaborate with trainers, internal coaches, and stakeholders to bridge training and coaching.
- Share knowledge, challenges, insights, and best practices with the broader coaching community.
- Drive ongoing enhancements to agile coaching methods throughout the organization.
Qualifications and Skills
- Extensive experience as an Agile Coach, preferably in technology, engineering, or product environments.
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant agile coaching experience.
- Proven capacity to coach multiple teams concurrently.
- Comprehensive understanding of agile principles, values, and delivery frameworks.
- Expertise in evaluating agile maturity and designing measurable improvement plans.
- Hands-on coaching skills beyond delivering training or advisory roles.
- Excellent facilitation, stakeholder engagement, and communication abilities.
- Adaptable to a fast-paced, multinational engineering setting.
- Bachelor’s degree mandatory; Master’s degree is an advantage.
- Relevant agile certifications such as ICP-ACC, ICP-ATF, CSM, PSM, or SAFe are preferred.
