Role Overview
We seek a highly driven Afterhours Dispatcher to join our innovative team and contribute to maintaining high service standards. This crucial role involves managing truckload shipments daily, overseeing a team of drivers, performing dispatch operations, and ensuring commitments to customers are met efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain continuous communication with drivers throughout the shift.
- Track freight delivery status and update routes promptly.
- Coordinate with dispatch team members to adapt daily routes based on customer needs.
- Build and sustain positive relationships with both drivers and customers.
- Deliver exceptional customer service by liaising with freight brokers.
- Provide customers with accurate information regarding cargo status, pickups, transit, and deliveries.
- Assist in achieving the company’s growth objectives and contribute to process improvements.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Strong multitasking abilities, proactive mindset, and meticulous attention to detail.
- Good geographical understanding of the United States.
- Excellent verbal and written communication plus interpersonal skills.
- A degree in Engineering, Administration, or Finance is advantageous.
- Proficient data entry skills emphasizing speed and accuracy.
- Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Self-motivated and able to thrive in a fast-paced office environment.
- Highly organized with precise attention to details.
- Fluent in English, which is mandatory.
Employment Details
This is a full-time position based onsite at our office in Cevahir Mall, Skopje. Working hours are Friday to Tuesday from 3:00 pm to 11:00 pm US Central Time (9:00 pm to 5:00 am CET), though workdays may vary occasionally.
