Job Responsibilities
- Ensure staffing needs comply with government regulations and RBA standards.
- Supervise recruiters, technical recruiters, temporary and contract labor resources, and employment representatives in recruitment processes.
- Develop and maintain effective candidate sourcing channels and resume tracking systems to facilitate quick identification of qualified applicants.
- Maintain a consistent corporate image across all recruiting campaigns.
- Plan, design, and implement hiring strategies to fill open positions efficiently while controlling recruitment costs.
- Collaborate with hiring managers on manpower planning to satisfy operational demands.
- Keep accurate staff records updated in HMS and LMS systems.
- Provide management with information on feedback trends and recruitment concerns.
- Establish and nurture connections with recruiting sources such as job fairs, agencies, online job portals, educational institutions, and universities.
- Select, develop, and evaluate personnel to optimize departmental operations.
- Monitor recruitment expenditures and maintain recruitment reports.
- Manage the employee resignation process including conducting exit interviews and updating records.
- Lead employee engagement efforts including New Hire 136 and CoffeeChats sessions.
- Oversee traineeship schemes such as Work-Study and Internship programs.
- Assist with new Employment Pass and Permanent Residence applications as well as renewals.
- Prepare official documents like confirmations, certificates of employment, and resignation acceptance letters.
- Follow up on Employee Introducer Schemes if applicable.
- Prepare necessary paperwork for onboarding and confirmations.
- Support work pass applications for foreign recruitment in coordination with the Ministry of Manpower.
- Innovate employee bonding and engagement activities to enhance retention.
- Lead HR improvement initiatives and support audit processes.
- Participate in quarterly communications sessions.
- Perform any additional duties assigned.
Job Requirements
- Possess a degree in any discipline; possession of a Diploma in Human Resource Management or equivalent is preferred.
- Candidates without formal qualifications but with significant relevant experience will be considered.
- Preferably have around five years of relevant work experience.
- Proficient in PC usage with strong command of Microsoft Office and Google Suite applications.
- Exemplify teamwork spirit along with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Able to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume recruitment environment.
- Well-versed with Singaporean labor laws, employment passes, and related regulations.
