About the opportunity

Join the welcoming team at Princess Alexandra Retirement Village in Napier as an Activity and Lifestyle Coordinator. This full-time role runs Monday to Friday, 9:30 AM to 4:30 PM.

You’ll help create enjoyable, meaningful experiences for residents while contributing to a positive and connected village community.

What you’ll do

  • Design and deliver a varied calendar of recreational, social, diversionary, and craft activities for residents.
  • Encourage resident wellbeing, happiness, and quality of life through engaging programmes.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and provide helpful day-to-day support to the wider team.

What you’ll bring

The ideal person is warm, dependable, and confident communicating with others. A strong sense of empathy is important, along with a professional and approachable manner.

You must hold a full driver’s licence and be comfortable driving a manual van.

Previous experience in aged care is welcome, but it is not essential.
