Role Overview
Skyline Rotorua is seeking enthusiastic, customer-oriented individuals to join our Activities Team in Rotorua, Bay of Plenty. As an Activities Operator, you will engage in delivering exceptional guest experiences across several exciting attractions, including luge, zipline, gondola, mountain biking, and guest services. This full-time, onsite position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to memorable moments for visitors locally and globally.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate and assist at world-class attractions such as luge tracks, zipline tours, gondola rides, and mountain bike patrol.
- Deliver outstanding customer service at ticketing counters, photography points, and throughout guest interaction areas.
- Provide support for outdoor activities, ensuring guest safety and enjoyment during varied weather conditions.
- Work primarily outdoors with shifts scheduled over weekends, school holidays, and public holidays.
Candidate Requirements
- Energetic mindset with strong communication abilities.
- Passion for creating memorable guest experiences and an interest in the tourism sector.
- Enjoy working within a diverse, fun team environment.
- Customer-focused approach with dedication to exceptional service delivery.
- Intermediate mountain biking skills required for Mountain Bike Patrol; Pre-Hospital Emergency Care (PHEC) qualification is highly valued for this role.
- Previous experience in tourism, customer service, outdoor recreation, guiding, or operational roles is a plus but not mandatory; comprehensive training will be provided.
