Overview
This remote position focuses on accounting and bookkeeping tasks within TrafficPrisma, a consulting, media, and marketing company. The role offers flexibility in employment form, including full-time, part-time, freelance, or internship opportunities. Working hours are flexible, typically between 5:00 and 20:00, except for mandatory meetings. The work language includes both German and English, and the role is fully remote with options for workation or home office.
Responsibilities
- Build and lead a finance team responsible for accounting, billing, purchasing, sales, and payments, reporting directly to management.
- Manage and proactively develop all company financial processes and workflows.
- Coordinate financial needs across teams, projects, campaigns, and investments, making financial decisions with the finance team and leadership.
- Ensure smooth and transparent flow of financial data, reporting, and controlling within the organization.
- Develop and maintain financial process documentation, KPIs, controlling instruments, and optimize financial transactions related to purchasing, sales, cash flow, proposals, payments, and investments.
- Ensure accounting tasks comply with legal and regulatory standards, data availability in the cloud, and proper documentation of all financial transactions for audit and reporting purposes.
- Oversee timely handling of incoming invoices, payments, reminders, and document the preparation of annual financial statements.
Requirements
- Experience in accounting and bookkeeping with familiarity in digital financial tools and financial processes.
- Strong numerical skills and commitment to optimizing financial workflows.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
- Personal traits include being communicative, emotionally balanced under pressure, open-minded yet serious about work, empathetic, eager to learn, strategic, motivated, structured, reliable, and detail-oriented.
- Knowledge in financial planning, controlling, bookkeeping, reporting, tax laws, and financial management.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Google Drive, and adaptability to cloud applications such as Freshbooks, Invoiz, Paypal, Zapier.
