Role Overview
The Accountant at RGB Productions is tasked with overseeing the day-to-day financial activities including recording transactions, maintaining comprehensive ledgers, and performing account reconciliations. This on-site, full-time position based in the Riyadh Region entails handling invoicing, monitoring accounts payable and receivable, as well as ensuring prompt and accurate payments.
Responsibilities
The role involves supporting budgeting and forecasting efforts, preparing detailed financial reports for management, and assisting with monitoring cash flow. Coordination with external auditors and ensuring adherence to financial regulations and internal policies form a critical part of the job. Additionally, the Accountant will recommend enhancements to existing financial processes and work collaboratively with production and operations teams to keep financial records aligned with projects and overall business operations.
Qualifications and Skills
- Expertise in bookkeeping, general ledger maintenance, and financial statement preparation.
- Proficient management of accounts payable/receivable tasks such as invoicing and payment tracking.
- Experience in budgeting, forecasting, and analyzing cash flow to aid strategic decisions.
- Familiarity with accounting software and spreadsheet applications (e.g., Excel), comfortable using digital financial platforms.
- Knowledge of accounting standards, local regulatory requirements, and basic taxation principles.
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational capabilities, thriving under tight deadlines in dynamic settings.
- Strong analytical aptitude and problem-solving abilities, capable of interpreting financial data and delivering actionable insights.
- Good communication skills with a collaborative approach to teamwork.
- A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or similar disciplines; professional certifications are advantageous.
- Previous experience within creative industries such as media or production is favorable.
