Job overview
VESLA MOTORS L.L.C is hiring a full-time Accountant for its service center finance function in Ras Al Khor, Dubai. This role is suited to someone highly organized and detail-focused, with prior exposure to automotive garage or service center accounting. The position involves day-to-day accounting work, accurate record maintenance, receivables and payables control, financial reporting, and adherence to UAE VAT rules.
Compensation and working hours
The salary offered for this role is AED 2,500 to AED 3,000 per month. Working hours are from 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM, with a 1-hour break.
Experience and role expectations
- You should have 2 to 3 years of accounting experience.
- Background in an automotive garage or service center is preferred.
- Familiarity with UAE accounting practices and VAT compliance is important.
- Comfort with MS Excel and accounting software is expected.
- Attention to detail, solid organization, and clear communication are key for this role.
What you will handle
- Keep daily accounting entries and bookkeeping records up to date.
- Create invoices, receipts, and payment vouchers.
- Track and manage amounts due from customers and amounts payable to vendors.
- Carry out bank reconciliations and ledger reconciliations.
- Support VAT-related documentation and submission work.
- Prepare financial summaries and reports for management review.
- Organize and preserve financial files and supporting documents.
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing tasks.
Education and additional qualifications
A bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a similar discipline is required. Professional credentials such as CPA, ACCA, CMA, or comparable qualifications will be considered an added advantage. A strong grasp of accounting principles, reporting, and UAE VAT regulations is also expected.
