Role Purpose
This role focuses on managing all finance and accounting-related responsibilities at the country level.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate bookkeeping, oversee the trial balance, and prepare financial statements using an ERP system for audit file preparation.
- Possess knowledge of Saudi Arabian tax laws, including GST and VAT, to prepare quarterly and annual tax filings.
- Develop tax schedules and assist with the preparation of tax reports and returns applying fundamental tax regulations.
- Reconcile daily collection receipts and ensure precise accounting record preparation, transaction research, and reporting.
- Document accounting transactions in line with internal and external stakeholder procedures.
- Coordinate with finance managers and auditors to facilitate external audit preparations and support.
- Ensure compliance with company financial policies and procedures, flagging discrepancies to management and undertaking additional assigned projects.
Requirements
- Degree in Accounting or equivalent, preferably from an English Medium or Accredited University.
- Proven experience with ERP and financial applications.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Solid understanding of accounting principles and practices.
- Typically possesses at least five years of experience in bookkeeping, financial statement preparation, financial reporting and analysis, auditing, and taxation.
