Accountant

Role Overview

Join Fruitful Day's accounting team in Dubai as an Accountant responsible for managing a variety of financial activities and ensuring adherence to regulatory standards. This role requires close coordination with various internal teams to contribute to the company’s ongoing growth and success.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily accounting tasks including accounts payable and receivable, as well as maintaining general ledger entries.
• Compile monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.
• Perform bank statement reconciliations to verify the accuracy of financial records.
• Use the Odoo ERP system to manage accounting processes and data entry.
• Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and managing cash flows effectively.
• Ensure compliance with UAE accounting standards and applicable tax laws.
• Handle employee reimbursement claims and provide payroll support as needed.
• Work collaboratively with auditors and external parties during annual audit processes.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• Demonstrated accounting experience within the UAE market.
• Proficiency with Odoo ERP or equivalent accounting software platforms.
• Comprehensive knowledge of UAE VAT, taxation, and statutory reporting obligations.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
• Excellent attention to detail, strong organizational capabilities, and analytical aptitude.

Desirable Qualifications

• Professional credentials such as ACCA, CA, or CPA certifications.
• Experience in dynamic SME or multinational business settings.
• Familiarity with additional ERP or other accounting software tools.
